INSERTING THE INK PAD FOR ALL HAND NUMBERING MACHINES:
Press handle fully down and press in the lock. This holds the handle
down and the ink pad cradle swung out. Hold the ink pad by the two black
wings and while pressing them lightly together, slip the pad into the
cradle with the inked pad facing the wheels.
RE-INKING:
To re-ink a pad, use only AMI/Reiner Metal Stamp numbering machine ink.
Spread the ink evenly and allow to soak in thoroughly. For machines that
have color boxes, slip in a new color box reservoir ink pad cartridge.
COLOR BOXES OR PRE-INKED PADS SHOULD NOT BE RE-INKED. THEY ARE DISPOSABLE. APPROXIMATELY 20,000 IMPRESSIONS.
