Designed for use with all solvent based, air-dry inks. Stamp non-porous surfaces including metal, plastic, photographs, glossy paper and CD's. Our patented double-sided stamp pad features an air-tight plastic container with two hinged covers. When not in use, the construction of the pad prevents the evaporation of ink. In use, one side always remains closed. When the side in use begins to dry out, simply flip the pad over and begin using the other side. While the second side is being used, the first side rejuvenates itself. Mark II ink dries in 10 -15 seconds on non-porous surfaces. These stamp impressions will dry to the touch, and resist mild solvent such as glass cleaner, outdoor conditions, and rubbing. Ink and Re-Activator sold separately.
Re-Filling Instructions; The Mark II Pigment Pad is designed to hold 1/2 oz of ink per side. To fill a dry pad, slowly apply ink in a circular pattern beginning at the center of the pad working your way to the outside of the casing until the entire surface is covered. Apply evenly to both sides of the pad for initial use.Do not over ink. Too much ink will cause the pad to overflow and will result in your stamp picking up too much ink. If pad floods, use a rag to dab off If either side shows signs of drying out, flip pad over and begin using other side. While using one side, the other will renew itself. Keep cover closed when not in use. When necessary, apply 2-3 drops of Mark II Cleaner and Thinner to the surface and allow solution to flush through the pad. Over time, additional ink will need to be applied to refresh surface.
